Common questions

What kind of insurance should I get?

Start with what you're trying to protect: your income, your family, your home, your car, or your health. The type of coverage that matters most usually follows directly from the thing that would be hardest to replace.

How much life insurance do I need?

A common starting point is the income your household would need to replace, plus debts and future costs such as education. Term and permanent policies solve different problems, and the right amount depends on how long that need lasts.

What's the difference between term and permanent life insurance?

Term covers you for a set number of years and generally costs less. Permanent coverage lasts for life and can build cash value, which makes it more expensive and more complex.

Does BrellaFind sell insurance?

No. BrellaFind is not an insurance carrier, agency or producer. We provide educational information and, only if you ask, an optional connection to a licensed professional.

Common questions

How much life insurance do I need?
A common starting point is the money others would need if your income stopped: outstanding debt, remaining mortgage, years of income replacement, future education costs and final expenses, minus assets and coverage already in place.
Is term or whole life better?
Neither is universally better. Term costs less per dollar of death benefit and covers a set period; permanent policies last for life and build cash value, at a substantially higher premium.
